Each semester spans eighteen weeks (i.e., 90 days), excluding end-of-semester examinations (ESE). The academic study schemes at each level are balanced with a number of co-curricular activities and the AICTE pattern. To motivate and encourage the students, a counselling system is also in place which involves various faculty members who act as class counsellors under the guidance of the chief counselor. Students are evaluated on a continuous basis through minor examinations, quizzes, assignments, class activities, and end-of-term examinations throughout the semester The medium of instruction is English for all the courses run by the Institute.
